Ustadh Zuhayr Chowdhury
Ustadh Zuhayr is a Qur’an instructor who began his Hifz journey at the age of 7 and completed memorization by 16. He has several years of teaching experience at local masajid—including serving as a teacher at IACC—as well as online programs, specializing in Naazirah, Tajweed, and Hifz. Originally from Bangladesh, he grew up in Atlanta and Dallas, where he became active in youth Qur’an education. He is dedicated to helping students—especially the youth—build a strong connection with the Qur’an through mentorship, discipline, and sincere Islamic guidance.
Ustadh Abdullaah Muhammad
Ustadh Abdullaah Muhammad began his Hifz journey at the age of 10 under the guidance of Shaikh Zaki and completed his memorization by 14. He later reviewed the Qur’an with Shaikh Ramadan Elsabagh, further refining his recitation and mastery of Tajweed. Ustadh Abdullaah has led Taraweeh prayers at a local mosque and is currently teaching Qur’an at Sachse Muslim Society, where he works with teens and young children. He focuses on helping his students excel in memorization, Tajweed, and understanding of the Qur’an while inspiring them to connect with the words of Allah in both heart and practice.
Ustadha Sidra Mohammed
Ustadha Sidra began her Hifdh journey at the age of 7 under the guidance of Shaykh Mozafar Mehrabi and Sr. Najat Fares at the VRIC Quran School. She completed her memorization of the Quran at the age of 9. Since then, she has dedicated herself to teaching students the fundamentals of Qaidah, Nazirah, and Hifdh. She currently teaches Quran through online and one-on-one sessions, working with students of all ages. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable with the Quran and are able to build a meaningful connection with the words of Allah swt.
Ustadh Umar Naveed
Ustadh Umar Naveed began memorizing the Qur’an at 13 and completed his Hifz at 15, alhamdulillah. Since then, he has dedicated his time to teaching and serving the Qur’an through both masjid programs and online learning environments. With roots in Pakistan and years of community involvement in Dallas, he focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning space for students of all levels. His teaching approach emphasizes strong recitation foundations, consistent practice, and nurturing a lifelong appreciation for the Qur’an within the next generation.
Qari Rayyan Abdullah
Ustadh Rayyan is a dedicated Qur’an instructor who completed his memorization (Hifdh) under the guidance of Hafiz Sajjad. He holds Ijāzah in the recitations of Ḥafṣ and Shu‘bah under Shaykh Waleed, affirming his mastery and authorized transmission of Qur’anic recitation. He currently teaches Nadhirah and Hifdh classes for children at EPIC Masjid, where he is committed to building a strong Qur’anic foundation in his students. He has also completed an intensive Qa’idah methodology training program, equipping him with specialized skills in early reading development and Tajwīd instruction.
Ustadh Abdallah Khan
Ustadh Abdallah Khan is a Qur’an instructor from Dallas, Texas who began his Hifz journey at the age of 11 and completed his memorization by 14. He studied Qur’an recitation and Tajweed under Sheikh Ramadan Elsabagh and later taught alongside him at Brighter Horizons Academy and Sachse Masjid. With years of experience in Qur’an education and leading Taraweeh across the DFW area, he specializes in Hifz development and Tajweed correction. He is dedicated to helping students perfect their recitation and build a sincere relationship with the Book of Allah.
